With more than 30 years of experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, Don DeWitt brings a unique blend of technical depth, practical insight, and steady leadership to Steiner Technologies. After more than two decades with Steiner Enterprises, Don helped launch Steiner Technologies in 2018, establishing its strong engineering foundation and commitment to dependable, customer-focused solutions. A hands-on leader, Don is often the first point of contact for new partnerships. He’s known for turning complex engineering challenges into clear, effective solutions—and for building relationships that last well beyond a single project. His approachable nature and problem-solving mindset have earned him the respect of customers, suppliers, and team members alike. Outside of work, Don enjoys time with his family and grandchildren. When he’s not with them, chances are he’s tinkering in the garage, tackling a home project, or spending a quiet afternoon at the lake.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for innovation, Tom Hicks co-founded Steiner Enterprises in 1992 and later helped launch Steiner Technologies in 2018. Over three decades, he has built a reputation for transforming ideas into market-ready solutions that combine smart engineering with practical design. A nontraditional thinker with an out-of-the-box approach, Tom’s leadership is rooted in curiosity and creative problem-solving. He’s known for bridging the gap between what customers imagine and what technology can achieve—delivering products that redefine value and performance. His deep understanding of the supply chain, coupled with a reputation for reliability and ingenuity, has been instrumental in driving operational excellence and customer confidence. Away from the office, Tom loves a good day on the water, a round of golf, or a Purdue game—but no accomplishment compares to the time he shares with family, which he considers the foundation of his success and happiness.
Combining nearly two decades of mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing experience into a practical, solutions-driven approach, Josh DeWitt leads the engineering and product development team at Steiner Technologies. A Purdue University graduate in Mechanical Engineering Technology with an MBA in Project Management, Josh blends technical depth with business insight to guide innovation from concept through production. His career reflects a passion for solving complex challenges, simplifying designs, and ensuring every product performs in the real world. A named inventor on multiple patents, he’s known for bridging the gap between creativity and manufacturability. Outside of work, Josh is a devoted husband and father, an accomplished woodworker who crafts heirloom-quality furniture, and a lifelong college basketball fan who lives for March Madness.
Chris brings an electrical engineering background to his role as VP of Sales, blending deep technical expertise with a natural ability to connect with people. With more than 20 years of experience in contract manufacturing, he has helped customers navigate complex projects, making the process approachable, efficient, and always aligned with technical requirements. Known for his relationship-first style, Chris serves as both a trusted advisor and a dedicated advocate for customer success. Outside of work, he enjoys time on the water or skiing on a mountain with his two boys.
